seeba Membership
Membership will be relevant for large and small manufacturing and service businesses, consultancies, local authorities and universities and individuals interested in 'producer responsibility' issues, eco-design, and other environmental and social issues in the electrical and electronics sector. Its unique services have been recognised as invaluable by organisations worldwide.
Advantages of seeba Membership
Website
Members get access to all parts of the website, which can result in substantial savings over the year. This includes all audio and non-audio slide presentations. In addition to this an online 'Advice Box' has been put in the Fact Sheets. This is a new service we are offering to our members. If you need help or advice you can ask questions within the advice box and we will in most cases give our opinion within a week. Other members may also be able to help you. The advice box will also be used to host live chat sessions. We will announce shortly times and dates for these. For member organisations we can arrange online discussions for groups of staff within the company.
Workshops and Conferences
Substantial cost savings when attending seeba workshops and conferences. Savings can be as high as £150 for workshops and £200 for the conference. seeba workshops are held several times a year covering legislation updates, plus implementation workshops on such subjects as moving to lead-free products, and the application of dfe. The conference is held once a year, normally in June or early July, and follows different themes. This year's theme is on preparing for the 'Energy Using Products Directive'. Select here to see the coming years event calendar.
As a result of seeba going global, we are planning to run a number of online web casts each year. Details will be announced soon.
