Key Implementation Dates (Transposition and Implementation Delayed)

13th August 2005: Products to have wheeled bin, manufacturer and date markings
7th October 2005: UK RoHS Legislation passed by Pailiament.
June 2006: 7th October 2005: UK RoHS Legislation passed by Pailiament.
Mid 2006: Start of Producer registration.
Early 2007: This is probably when producers take financial responsibilities.
Early 2007: This is when retailers will probably start taking back WEEE.
1st July 2006: Control of substances under RoHS begins.
Mid 2007: Thus is probably when targets for collection and recycling will begin.
