Paul provides consultancy on the EU WEEE and RoHS directives and is assisting a growing number of clients to deal with their implications. He regularly presents papers on RoHS compliance issues at international conferences. He has lead an investigation into compliance with the RoHS directive for the UK Department of Trade and Industry on behalf of the RoHS Technical Adaptation Committee and regularly advises the UK Department of Trade and Industry on issues relating to electrical equipment and legislation. He carried out an investigation into exemptions to the RoHS directive for the European Commission in 2004 and is currently carrying out a review of categories 8 and 9 for possible future inclusion in the scope of the RoHS directive

Keith Huckle is a Product Steward & Risk Manager for Dow Corning Corporation. Based in Belgium, he has global responsibility for product advocacy, environmental strategy and risk management in the Advanced Technologies & Ventures Business. He joined Dow Corning in 1992 and has held a variety of technical and management positions within the company. After graduating from a London Medical School he spent several years in the petroleum industry. Within SEMI (Semiconductor Equipment & Materials International), Keith Huckle chairs the EU Chemicals Working Group where the draft EU REACH regulation provides one of the main areas of focus.

Graham Adams graduated from the University of Sussex in 1970 with an Honours Degree in Mechanical Engineering. During his career he has worked in the fields of R&D in diesel fuel injection systems, electronics and fibre optic sensors, of which 5 years were in Spain, and 7 years in Germany.

In 1985 he joined Motorola to Manage the Mechanical Design Group in the European Design Centre. During his time at Motorola he was promoted up to Chief Engineer of the design centre then went into quality systems where he successfully led a European team to obtain ISO9001 followed by QS9000.

Following this he then moved on to be the Global Environmental Design Manager for Motorola IESS, during which time he was responsible for developing the dfe tools used by the Sector, and the integration of their use into the product launch process. He represented Motorola Corporate within EICTA and chaired the Supply Chain Management Task Force within it and received a reward for outstanding performance on Standards activities..

In April of 2002 he moved into Engineering Systems Consulting. He is now director of his own company PlesTech Ltd., (www.plestech.co.uk) and is invloved in the development of eco-design software, and integration of eco-design into companies management systems. He is the Co-ordinator/webmaster for seeba, and does workshops, seminars and webcasts for IPC and ERA Research Technologies. He is on the advisory committee for the RE4View environmental magazine.
