NETWORKS

The Centre for Sustainable Design has launched a range of Knowledge Transfer Networks (KTNs) covering ecodesign, greenelectronics, environmental management and eco-innovation (eco-i-net).

eco-i net brings together stakeholders in the eco-innovation system with a particular focus on low carbon and sustainable building techologies.
This includes organisation of events and an online community that can be accessed via eco-innovation_network@yahoo.co.uk.

A unique added-value element of eco-i-net is the GreenThink© Lab that provides a range of eco-innovation services to support inventors, entrepreneurs and companies
from R&D through to commercialisation.

The SMILE Knowledge Cluster was created to raise awareness and understanding amongst the regional business community and University for the Creative Arts (UCA) students and lecturers of sustainability and its impact and relationships with marketing, innovation, design, leadership and entrepreneurship.
